In the past, if the same size billboard wanted to achieve 2000lx brightness, it would need to use about 100 LED lights, and the power consumption would be 35~80W (the company's commentator).
The light source module is equipped with a special optical lens of 160mm160mm on a high-power white LED lamp. The optical lens efficiently guides the LED light onto the billboard, and with one LED lamp, a large-area surface illumination of 160 mm 160 mm can be realized.
In fact, the light source module of the same structure has been successfully developed in the field of liquid crystal panel backlights, but the cost requirement of the billboard light source module is higher than that of the liquid crystal panel, so it has not been developed before (Nitto Optical Interpreter). This time, in order to meet this low-cost requirement, optical films and the like are omitted by improving the structure of the optical lens.
The specific price is not fixed. Compared with the use of 100 LED lights, it is cheaper to use 10 of the current light source modules (Nitto Optical Interpreter).
The thickness of the light source module is 15 mm. The color temperature of the illuminating color is 6500K. The life expectancy is about 50,000 hours. The goal is to reach a practical level in the spring of 2009.
