Seoul Semiconductor AC Drive LED Light Source Receives CE Certification

Seoul Semiconductor recently announced that it is the world's first AC-powered semiconductor light source "Acriche", which has been awarded the "CE" mark and the German "TUV" certification. It has become the world's first packaged lighting technology to receive the "CE" mark, and the "Acriche" products are all Meets globally stringent product safety standards.
Based on global environmental regulations, the EU will implement the Energy-using Products (EuP) directive in August 2008. According to the "EuP" regulations, all electrical and electronic equipment must be certified by the "CE" mark in order to be approved for sale in the EU.
